“People don’t buy what you do; they buy why you do it.”
I first watched this TED talk in the midst of my last formal sorority recruitment, and we revisited it during our first ODK meeting of the semester. As a Delta Gamma, I’m so lucky to be a part of something that fosters high ideals of friendship, promotes educational and cultural interests, creates social responsibility, develops the finest qualities of character, and just so happens to be a sorority. As a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, I love that we challenge the status quo and seek to improve the student experience at UGA through cultivating traditions and creating new initiatives… and incidentally, we’re an honors society.
